I want you to think about your hormones like a cake recipe.  Each of these hormones must be in proper balance in order for the cake to bake correctly.  What happens when your ingredients are off?  What does it taste like?  Does it bake correctly and rise in the middle, or does it collapse?  My goal is for you to have a thorough understanding of these ingredients and how they combine together so feel your best and thrive as you transition through menopause.  When they’re out of balance you’re likely feeling like a HOT MESS!!  Let’s dig into these ingredients and how we can rectify things to help you on your journey.

Hot Mess Hormonal Cake Recipe

Base Hormones

(FLOUR)

Our first ingredient is “FLOUR” or our BASE HORMONES, Estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Understanding how these being in proper balance through this transition are imperative to our long-term health. You can find more information by reading these books.

Macronutrients

(EGGS/BUTTER)

The third ingredient “EGGS/BUTTER” or MACRONUTRIENTS. I want to help you improve your food group knowledge by teaching you how to evaluate your food intake as well educate you on the importance of the three major food groups and how the proper intake of carbs, fats, and protein will improve your health long-term. Supplementation

(SUGAR)

The third ingredient of our hot mess hormonal cake is “SUGAR” or SUPPLEMENTATION. Aside from increasing your education about how nutrition affects your horomones, it’s also important to create a plan to ensure your body is getting the proper supplementation for maximum nutrion. Toxins

(SALT)

Ingredient number four is “SALT” or TOXINS. Knowledge about our exposure to daily toxins is imperative. It is important for you to begin removing all of the hormone disruptors you’re exposed to daily by removing household and beauty items that are damaging to your health. Exposure to endocrine disruptors like phthalates and pesticides can be a major cause in your hormonal imbalance. As you do this, your body will have the energy to absorb all of the beneficial things and prevent diseases like cancer.

Hormonal Balance

(BAKING SODA)

Our fifth ingredient is “BAKING SODA” or HORMONAL BALANCE. The last step in this recipe is to help you implement daily habits to escalate you to place of proper hormonal health to prevent you from feeling like your life and health are collapsing around you.
